Reagan Kathleen Hicks
Born in Arizona, I moved to the DFW area in 2013 and have since been studying art. I love to sing and travel, and practice keeping aquariums and reptiles.
My current body of work is in reference to my upbringing in a creative domestic space, largely influenced by matriarchal figures in my family. With the encouragement of reuse and experimentation, my art making process and the associated motor skills came to align with those of domestic crafts, particularly fabric. Exploring the origination of my artistry has been incredibly rewarding, and I plan to infuse my perspective of learning into my teaching for many years.
